WHO WE ARE

Trimont Trimmings is a brand owned and operated by Highcroft Interiors Ltd. As professionally trained upholsterers ourselves we know how important good quality trimmings are. They are not simply an after thought, but an important element in their own right. 

Passementerie (the art of making elaborate trimmings) is on the Heritage Crafts Association list of endangered crafts. Trimont Trimmings was established over 30 years ago by Keith McAlpine, who trained and worked at the heart of the British passementerie industry based in Spitalfields, East London. Trimont has also been part of Heritage Trimmings Ltd and, from 2007, run by Nicola Gething who trained in passementerie too.  Trimont Trimmings is a brand which is proud to support such an important heritage craft. 

Our main collections - Bolero, Edale, Farandol, Flamenco, Gavotte, Haddon, Largo, Minuet, Plain, Prima and Saraband - provide the full range of trimmings for interiors, serving our customers across soft furnishings, upholstery and interior design. With collections exclusive to Trimont, our trimmings have been designed and manufactured in the UK and France by companies we trust, with a strong Passementerie lineage.

While we may have moved a few times (who hasn’t),we haven’t changed what lies at the heart of our brand - providing good quality traditional furnishings trimmings.
